Jean Marie Witkowski of Slate Hill NY, died on Sunday February 11 With her loving family by her side. She was 54.
The daughter of Herman and Mildred Sircable, she was born on September 1, 1952 in Middetown. Jean married Thomas J. Witkowski on July 14, 1972 in Horseheads, NY.
A family statement reads: “Jean was all about family. She was a selfless, caregiving woman who made our world a better place”.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Tom, at home; sons, Tony and his wife Lisa of Milford, PA, and Allan Witkowski and his wife Renee of Bejing, China; daughter Tami Winner and her husband Michael of Slate Hill; sisters Donna Kanan and her husand Tim and Pamela Witkowski and her husband Rich; her mother, Mildred; and 10 grandchildren, Nicole, Eric, Elizabeth, Sarah, Shawn, Kylee, Jason, Travis, Erin and Katie; sister-in-law, Diane Witkowski; brothers-in-law James Witkowski and his wife Barbara and Dan Pauley; and several nieces and nephews, much loved, but too numerous to list.
Jean was predeceased by one son, Tommy in 1985, brother-in-law John Witkowski in 2005 and sister-in-law Kathy Pauley in 1998.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Aplebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15 at 11:00 AM in the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, NY. Interment will follow in the family plot in Ridgebury Cemetery, Ridgebury, NY.
