Jean M. Morrison of Middletown, died on Monday December 7 at St. Teresa’s Nursing Home. She was 64.

The daughter of the late Stephen and Carrie Bastek Zaorski, she was born on June 27, 1945 in Westtown, NY. Jean married Michael J. Morrison on September 12, 1964 at St. Stanislaus Church in Pine Island, NY. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.

In addition to her husband Michael at home, she is survived by her two sons, Michael T. and his wife Kimberly of Andover, NJ and James P. and his wife Karen of Chapel Hill, NC; and her two daughters Patricia Johnston and her husband Joseph and Christine Knibbs both of Middletown; one brother, Stephen Zaorski of Middletown; two sisters Helen Shuback and her husband Mickey of Goshen, NY and Bernice Dino and her husband John of Middletown; and four beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Grace, Samantha and Alexander.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 10 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Pine Island, NY.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Teresa's Nursing

for their compassionate care and support.
