Our darling mom, Jean Biaso, died after a courageous battle with cancer on August 29th, 2017 at Middletown Park Manor with her daughter Deb, son-in-law and grandchildren at her bedside.
She was born on May 27, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. In her younger years, Jean was a professional roller skater and delighted many with her agility and talent. She worked as an Legal Assistant for the Government, later as a Payroll Coordinator, and Retired as a Dietitian. She was active in many senior activities and loved to bowl, dance and spend time with family and friends. She spent years collecting the dolls she admired. Jean was a great cook who generously shared her talents with everyone, there was always a stack of homemade cookies at Grandma’s house.Her very favorite pastime was being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her ex-husband Thomas Biaso Sr, her four children; Debbie Biondi and her husband Chris, of Bloomingburg; Joseph and his wife Patti of Little River, SC, Thomas Jr. of Boynton Beach, FL, and Jeanne Wolf and her husband Mark, of Bloomingburg. She is also survived by a sister, Mary and her husband Pete of Long Island and her grandchildren; Megan, Nikki, Christopher, Jonathan, Jodi, Michele, Joey, Roxayne, Dave, Nicholas, Thomas, Sarah, Danielle, and Jason and Danielle ; great-grandchildren, Di Angelo, Christopher, Adelyn, Scarlet, Julia, Amy, Zack, Sophie and Quinny.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with a Funeral Service of Remembrance at 11 am, Fr. Allejandro Sanchez will officiate.
