Obituary for James P. Rose
James P. Rose formerly of Warwick, NY passed peacefully in his New York City apartment on September 30, 2014. He was 70 years old.
Jim's music industry career spanned over 40 years as he worked with numerous famous talents. Primarily, he functioned
as road and production manager and his 25 plus years with jazz legend Miles Davis will serve as his greatest and most prestigious experience.Â
Jim also worked with BB King, Santana, and Earth Wind & Fire to name a few. His most recent employment was with Hunter College
where he served as Production Manager at the locally famous Kaye Playhouse.
Jim is survived by his brother Bob of Port Jervis, NY, his sister Susan of Nashua, NH, two nieces, one nephew and many
many good friends and associates from around the world.
A Memorial of Remembrance is set for November 6th, 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Kaye Playhouse,
695 Park Ave, New York, NY 10065.
