Jacqueline Marie Lynch
June 6, 1965 – January 8, 2023
Middletown, New York
Jacqueline Marie Lynch (née Larghi) of Middletown, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the
age of 57, surrounded by her whole family.
Jackie was born in Fort Lee, NJ, on June 2, 1965. She attended Brewster High School and married her
beloved Chris on April 5, 1987, in Ridgefield, CT, at the age of 20.
Her family revered her as a loving, caring, and supportive wife and mother. To her friends, and indeed to
all she met in life, she was a warm, kind, and gentle soul. A humble and devout Roman Catholic, Jackie
was a parishioner of St. Mary’s and St. Andrew’s Church in Ellenville, NY, previously of St. Joseph’s in
Middletown, NY, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Middletown, NY. Being active in parish life, Jackie
helped to bring Christ to others by leading adult faith formation meetings and brightening up the
community by lending her hand to any need. She was also a generous hostess, opening her home to
many young Catholics. She lived as a true daughter of Christ, defining her life by her faith.
When not spending her time making her family’s house into a home and domestic church, she enjoyed
cooking, baking, gardening, and caring for her chickens. While always living out her vocation as a
devoted wife and mother, Jackie also owned Jack’s General Store in Sugar Loaf for several years,
drawing on her love of rustic hominess and handicrafts.
Jackie is survived by her devoted husband Christopher M. Lynch (57) of Middletown, NY, her loving
daughter Alexandra E. Lynch (33) of Middletown, NY, Alex’s fiancé John F. Marriott (28) of Stamford, CT,
and her dear son Kevin J. Lynch (29) of Middletown, NY.
