Howard "Howie" Judson

Howard Judson, 62, of Walker Valley, NY, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was the son of the late Roy E. Judson, Sr. and Mary (Kellam) Judson, he was born on December 17, 1951 in Newburgh, NY.
A lifetime resident of the area,Howie was a self-employed contractor, taking on the many challenges of each client and construction job, working to a point of perfection.He was a former member and past Lieutenant of the Circleville Fire Dept. Once an avid hunter and fisherman, he later enjoyed observing the many forms of wildlife as they passed by his windows, and the serene lake fishing when work was done.
Howard is survived by his three siblings, brother, Roy E. Judson, Jr. and his companion Cathy Irwin, sister Rose Marie Hunt(Danny) of Bullville, NY and brother Richard Judson (Donna) of Lake Mary, FL; his sisters-in-law, Linda Judson of Bullville and Holly Roebuck-Judson of Montgomery, NY; his former spouse Bonnie Zylstra of Johnson and special friend, Cindy Edmunds of Pine Bush, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother, James.
Visitation will be Friday evening, March 28, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Orange Regional Medical Center Oncology ward for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Howard's name to the American Cancer Society.
