Hope Tamara Polen, formerly of Fort Lee, NJ, died following a short illness at Highland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Middletown. She was 82.
Hope was born on November 26, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Polen. Hope enjoyed travelling and did so extensively during her lifetime. She took cooking lessons in Italy, taught bridge on cruise ships and always loved to shop. She loved children, and was especially close to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Michael and his wife Lori of Coral Springs, FL, Robert and his wife Karen of Las Vegas, NV and Faith Lang of Middleotwn. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jennifer, Jared, Marisa, Rachel and Aiden and two great-grandsons, Dylan and Avery.
A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 5 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
