HENRY JOHN KEYSER

July 2, 1986 - April 16, 2011

Bloomingburg, NY

Henry John Keyser, known by many as Hank, Little Hank, Hanky, Hanker, Hank the Tank, Puff, and Jr. passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2011 at the age of 24. A life-long resident of Bloomingburg, he attended Pine Bush School District and was an employee of Mid-Hudson Communications in Bullville. Hank was born July 2, 1986 in Goshen, NY to Danita and Henry Keyser.

He lived his short life as a loyal, loving, and devoted son, brother, father to his dogs, and strong friend and mentor to his unbelievable number of friends. His infectious smile and contagious laugh resonates with everyone he encountered and his huge heart was felt by all he knew.

Hank is survived by his parents, Henry and Danita; sisters, Brandi and Lyndsey; companion, Tracey Harris; cherished pets, Zip, Twixxie and Little Puff. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Grace and George Rosado as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all those who loved him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Joseph Gabel; his Uncle George and too many beloved friends.

Hank was a best friend to all. His most beloved moments were spent outside with his friends and family; riding, snowboarding, camp-outs, bonfires, swimming. He loved racing and fixing anything with a motor.

His friends knew him as the ring leader; he planned the best parties, organized the wildest adventures, and always kept his crew together. Hank was our rock, the one everyone went to for support and help. He lived by his motto, “Go big or go home,” and his big, kind heart was just one way he did this. As all who knew him say, “he was a legend and legends never die. They stay in our hearts and memories forever.”

Visitation hours will be held Thursday, April 21 from 4-8 p.m. at Christian Faith Fellowship, 510 M&M Road, Middletown, NY. Services in celebration of his life will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, April 22 at the Town of Mamakating Park with Rev. Hoag officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
