Helen Katherine Stasinis, a Middletown resident for over 45 years, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was born in Warwick on July 9, 1917 to the late George and Mary Koch Rudy.
Helen was formerly employed at Carson and Towner and Kassel Brothers in Middletown. Throughout her lifetime, Helen was an active member of North Congregational Church in Middletown. She sang in the choir, served as a member of the Music Committee, the Official Board, a former member of the Board of Directors, the Plymouth Circle Guild, the Diaconate and the Official Board of Pastor/Parish Relations. She was also a former member of the Business and Professional Woman's Club of Middletown and the Middletown Women's Republican Club.
Helen is survived by her son John G. and his wife Nancy of GA; two daughters Mary Jane Londis and her husband Gary of PA; Susan Windham and her husband Jerry of SC; two sisters Marion Sanford of FL, Frances Halvorsen of PA; two grandchildren Jackie Kanan and Jennifer Russ; four great grandchildren Lauren, Megan, Nicholas Kana and Jacob Russ, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband George and one grandchild, R.J. Brola.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Monday December 3, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940 with a funeral service at 10AM at the funeral home on Tuesday December 4, 2012.Burial will follow the family plot in Warwick Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helens name to the North Congregational Church for any of their projects.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Monday December 3, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940 with a funeral service at 10AM at the funeral home on Tuesday December 4, 2012.Burial will follow the family plot in Warwick Cemetery.
