Obituary for Guy T. Grosso Sr.
Guy T. Grosso Sr. passed away January 27, 2023 at home with his family by his side.
He was born on November 1, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to Anthony and Agatha Grosso.
He was employed by Ford Motor Manufacturing Company in Mahwah, NJ and retired from the plant when they moved to Michigan.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Isabelle Villani. They were blessed with two sons; Guy T. Grosso Jr. (Zorianna) and John M. Grosso (Tamara). Grandchildren; John Michael Grosso Jr. (Erin), Kelly Grosso ( Derek Lacelle), Ryan Grosso ( Lauren).
Guy was predeceased by his second wife Patricia Dumais. They were blessed with a Son, John B. Grosso (Heidi), and Daughter Maria Grosso (Joe).
Grandchildren; Brian Jones, John Jones, John Brian Grosso Jr., Andrew Grosso, Cheyenne Bills and Kyleigh Grosso.
He had many great-grandchildren.
When he wasn't found spending time with his family and friends, you could find him in his garden. He was a great gardener and our family often said, "Dad could plant a rock and make it grow".He truly enjoyed growing fruit trees,vegetables and plants.
Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY.
