Greg A. Godfrey died peacefully in his sleep at his home. He was 70 years old.
Born in Sydney, NY and predeceased by his loving parents George and Gladys Godfrey. He grew up in Norwich, NY with his three brothers, Gordon (Susie), Gerry (Debby), Garth (Diane), and has six nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife Marguerite (Barbera), three step-daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Ascher, Stacy (John) Riddlemoser, and Kimberly (Shane) Randolph. He was a proud grandfather to Evan, Camille, Layla, and Vanessa.
Greg was a lifetime member of the Monroe Gun Club. He was an avid skeet, black powder, and trap shooter, and loved participating in many competitions. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, working on cars and traveling with his wife.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 9th from 3-5pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY 10940.
