Gloria E. Anderson passed away peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2010 at St. Teresa's Nursing Home in Middletown.

The daughter of the late Fred A. and Lillian Vetter Dailey, she was born on June 20, 1913 in Middletown. Gloria and her brother Stanly were the former owners of the Popcorn Store on Franklin Square in Middletown in the 1940s. She was a longtime member of First Congregational Church in Middletown and the Homemakers Association.

She was predeceased by her parents, husbands, Isidore Gerber and N. Jack Anderson; sisters, Aldene Bunn, Anna L. Warren; brother Stanley Dailey and his wife Irene Dailey and nephew Robert S. Warren.

She will be lovingly missed by her nieces and nephews; Jack and Bonnie Dailey and family of Bloomingburg, Andrea and John Medulan and family of Alameda, CA and Anne Warren Kelly, Rob, Andrew and Steve Warren of the Middletown area. She is also survived by Bob and Sally Anderson of Vermont and Gary and Gail Anderson of North Carolina and Many great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2010 from 1 to 2 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service in Remembrance will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home and burial will follow in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, Midway Road, Middletown.
