Obituary for Glenn R. "Rob" Lyons
Glenn R. “Rob” Lyons, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in Gladstone, NJ. He was 53 years old. The son of Ruth Owen and the late Glenford Lyons, he was born May 29, 1953 in Middletown, NY. Rob was a lifelong craftsman, learning the woodworking trade from his father at Lyons Millwork. He was the owner of Lyons Woodworking. Before moving to New Jersey, he worked at Crystal Run Village. Rob is survived by his wife, Sarah Pryor at home; his beloved children Casandra Roberts and her companion, Adam Dickey, of East Millinocket, Maine, Jason Lyons of Goshen, and Jeremy Lyons of Middletown; one brother Donald Lyons of Middletown; one sister Ruth Hansen and her husband, Ron, of Nanuet; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 11, from 1 to 2 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A Memorial service will take place at the funeral home at 2 pm.
