George L.Rodriguez
April 13, 1932- May 17, 2023
George was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, son of Anastacio Rodriguez and Jesusa O' Ferrall. He moved to New York when he was a young man. He spent the majority of his life in the Bronx and moved to Middletown, NY in 1996.
George met his wife Flor de Maria before he went to the Korean War in 1952. They corresponded and married, and together they had 5 children.
He is survived by four of his children:
Son, Eduardo Rodriguez and wife Beverly ;
Daughters, Marisel and husband Ferdinand Morales Jr., Yvette and husband Edwin Ayala, and Luisa and husband Gonzalo Arias.
He had eleven Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Anastacio Rodriguez and Jesusa O'Ferrall, his beloved wife Flor de Maria, son George L. Rodriguez Jr. and his grandson Nolan F. Morales.
A Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home Middletown, NY on Thursday 11:00 Am to 1:00 Pm
A funeral service will be conducted as well by Fr. Pablo.
Interment to follow at Orange County Veterans Cemetery Goshen, NY.
