Obituary for Franklin G. Wolfe
Born August 15, 1951 at Lewisburg, PA to George F. Wolfe and LaVerda M. (Steininger) Wolfe, both deceased.
Frank founded a contracting firm, All American Homes, over 37
years ago. His son, Eli Wolfe, worked side by side with him.
He was a member of The Church at Crawford for almost 50 years.
An avid Sportsman who loved deer and turkey hunting. A member of the Grand Slam Horseshoe League. Frank loved Baseball and enjoyed teaching his grandson, Jacob, whom he raised as a son.
He graduated as an Air & Water Technician Assoc. from Sullivan County Community College, Loch Sheldrake, NY
He is survived by his wife, of almost 50 years, Florence I. (Fulton) Wolfe
His sons are Jeremiah Wolfe of Montgomery, NY and Eli and his wife Melissa Wolfe of Pine Bush, NY. His stepson is James R. Baum of PA.
He was blessed with Seven Grandchildren. And had 6 Step Grandchildren.
Frank was a surrogate father and had a close mentoring relationship from childhood to present with: Chief Petty Officer James A. Bryant of Gulfport, MS. Joe Kohlenbeck of CO and Kevin Nutt of CO. He thought of these three as his other sons!
He is predeceased by his infant daughter, Rebekah Wolfe.
A sister Shirley (Wolfe) Jackson and husband Joe of Milton PA. Three nephews and their wives and 10 Grandnephews/nieces.
Interment will be at The Church at Crawford, Pine Bush (Ulster Co NY), by the side of his daughter. A gathering for a “Celebration of Life” will be held in the Spring of 2022.
