Frank V. Incorvaia of Bullville , died on March 30,2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He 78. The son of the late Joseph and Katherine Incorvaia, he was born in Poughkeepsie on February 7, 1934. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, from 1953-57. During his service he was stationed on USS Kula Gulf Aircraft Carrier. He was retired from Yellow Freight in Middletown.
Frank was a lifetime member of the NRA, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an avid race fan and always attended them with his partners in crime, Denise and Cindy. A statement from his daughter reads: “ He started us out young, riding horses and currently enjoyed watching his granddaughter, Mackenzie and son Brian show their horses. He had an amazing way of touching many people with a simple smile or lending a helping hand or just sharing stories. He will be greatly missed, absolutely and forever”. He is survived by his loving daughter, Denise Rutherford of Middletown; a brother,Thomas and wife, Jean of Hyde Park. He is also survived by his companion,Louise DeFillipo and her children, Joseph and Michael DeFillipo; onegranddaughter, Mackenzie of Middletown; two nieces, Michelle McCarthy and DonnaSchafer of Connecticut;extended family, Michael Hubler and wife, Jeanine and their children: Dylan,Austin and Riley, Carol Hubler and Elizabeth Hulseapple, and many friends andloved ones. He is predeceased by his son, Brian in November 2011.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon atApplebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave., Middletown.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Ave., Middletown. Burial with Militaryhonors will follow in the family plot in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
