Frank Toledo of Middletown died on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Westchester Medical Center in Vallhalla. He was 75. The son of Diosdado and Maria Toledo, he was born on February 15, 1937 in the Philippines. Frank married Carmencita Mariano and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown. He was a retired elevator repairman for Empire Elevators in NYC. He was a hardworking man and a thoughtful and loving husband and father.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carmencita; sons: Edwin and his wife, Tammy, Joseph and his wife, Terry of Woodburne, Apollo of Monticello and Vincent Viernes and his wife, Lille of Washingtonville; daughters: Maria Toledo of Japan and Cindy Friedman and her husband, Marc of Rock Hill. He is also survived by his sisters: Inday Copuaco and Gloria Quirao; eleven grandchildren: Kristina, Aaron, Brandon, Tiffany, Brittany, Theresa, Peter, Eva, Sophia, Jessica and Jacob; and nieces: Rosemarie Perez and her husband, Bong of Kennilworth, NJ and Grace of London, England.Â
Visitation hours are from 9 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, January 18 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Middletown. Arrangements are uner the direction of Applrbee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
