Obituary for Frances Villegas
Frances Villegas, an employee of Empire Blue Cross and longtime resident of Middletown died after a long and courageous battle with cancer on June 3, 2021.
The daughter of the late Francis and Katherine Lakewood Frank, she was born in Middletown N.Y. on December 9, 1942. She was 78.
She married the love of her life Manuel J. “Chippo” Villegas on November 6th, 1964 in Middletown, who predeceased her in 2011.
Fran was a warm and loving woman who cherished her family and friends. An avid gardener, she loved her rose bushes and created a pleasant and beautiful floral addition to her home. She was someone who delighted in her grand and great-grandchildren and has left us her legacy of caring for others. She will be truly missed and never forgotten.
Fran is survived by her three loving sons; Dean (Rose), Dale and Darrin Villegas,
Seven grandchildren; Jennifer (Erik), Daniel (Carmina), Vincent, Danielle, Deanna, Valerie, Nicholas and seven great grandchildren; Mina, Roxy, Vita, Ella, Ethan, Jayden and Julissa.
A Graveside Service will be held on June 9th, 2021, 11:00 am, at Wallkill Cemetery, in the family plot.
