Obituary for Frances Marie Bakertcy
Frances Marie Bakertcy passed away at the age of 86 on March 9, 2022, at the Delaware Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Matamoras, PA. Frances lived in Middletown, NY since 2003, and was born in Astoria, NY on August 30, 1935; the second of four children born to Antonio (Tony), and Anna (Mae) Pasquale. Frances had an older sister Mary Kilday, who passed away in 2016, a younger brother Anthony Pasquale, who passed away in 2014, and is survived by a beloved younger sister Rose, who resides in Phoenix, AZ, with her daughter Denise Pasquale.
Frances and her first husband, Albert Peroutka had three daughters. Frances is survived by her daughter Cherylann DeLaurentis and her spouse Frank. Frances's third surviving daughter is Joan Schuck with her spouse Joseph Abbondolo and Frances's grandchildren Joseph, Jennifer Schuck and Jessica with her spouse David DiMarsico; as well as their children Evan and Harper DiMarsico. Sadly, Frances's second daughter Kathleen predeceased her in May 2007. Frances and Kathleen are survived by son/grandsonRaman, daughter/granddaughter Cheyenne, and son/grandson Eric Kromholz. Albert passed away in 1962.
Frances was blessed to have another chance for love in her life with Constantine (Gus) Bakertcy. Frances is survived by her fourth daughter, Anna Kladakis with her spouse Anthony and Frances's grandchildren, Timothy Jaidan, Constantine, Amber Kladakis. Gus sadly passed away in 1976. There are many additional nieces and nephews that are too great in number to name here.
Frances raised her four daughters as a single mom at a time when there was not much support available for such women trying to raise children and work. Frances worked as a bookkeeper for a small company called Veterans Supply Corp., which sold sanitation and maintenance supplies in the New York City area. In retirement Frances baby-sat her grandchildren almost full-time. Frances loved all her babies! Frances was a wonderful, giving, and unselfish person that cared about everyone before herself. Frances definitely earned her wings!
Entombment will be private and done at the convenience of the family. Donations in France's name may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
