Florence P. Sisilli of Middletown, died on Sunday August 26 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Skolnick Hroblak, she was born on April 28, 1922 in New York City. She graduated valedictorian from her high school in NYC and worked in Risk Management for Johnson and Higgins.
Florence was a devoted mother who raised three good children on her own. She dedicated her life to her family and taught her family to take care of each other. She was humble, caring, sociable and funny. She attended St. Joseph's Church in Middletown.
She is survived by her children; Paul of Greenville, Diane of Cape Coral, FL and Paula of Middletown; six grandchildren, Paul, John, Laura, Michael, Allison and Joseph and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation hours are from 5 to 9 pm on Thursday, August 30th at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. Memorial contributions in Florence's name may be made to Pets Alive, 363 Derby Road, Middletown, NY 10940.
