Obituary for Felix Marzano
Felix Marzano, a long-time area resident, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, with his family at his side. He was 79. Felix was born in NYC on September 19, 1927, to the late Frank and Theresa Viglione Marzano. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Navy. He was a graduate of St. John’s University, earning a degree of BBA. He was also a retired printing salesman of children’s books. His family and his home were extremely important to him. He loved gardening and was an avid Giant’s fan. He followed politics closely and was very passionate about his beliefs. He is survived by Connie, his loving wife of 51 years, and his sons Frank of Albuquerque, NM, and Erik of Middletown; as well as his beloved cat, J.D. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey David Marzano, and his sister Fay Montalbano. Cremation will be private. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, on Saturday October 14th at 10 am.Memorial contributions in Felix’s name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Kaplan Residence, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
