Eva Marie Howe
September 29, 1988 – January 10, 2023
Eva Howe, 34, of Raleigh, NC, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023, surrounded by the comfort of her loving family.
Eva was born on September 29, 1988 in Middletown, NY the daughter of the late Robert K. Howe and the late Antonia (Cassano) Howe. Eva was also predeceased by both sets of loving grandparents, Nonna and Nonno (Papa) Cassano and Grandma and Grandpa Howe.
Eva graduated from Averill Park High School in Averill Park, NY, in 2010. She spent her days following graduation at a program in Averill Park, where she was known as the “Mayor”. Eva loved to spend her time socializing with all the staff and participants. Eva would also do outings, where she would spend time at old age homes, assisting the residents or just telling stories to keep them company. In 2015, Eva and her family moved to North Carolina, where she again spent time in a program called “Wake Enterprises”. She quickly regained her title of “Mayor” there as well. Eva enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved to shop, color, play cards, go for walks and she loved her purses.
Eva is survived by her loving Aunt and Uncle, Angela & Joseph LaMarca. Her sister Katherine (Howe) Hsu, Katherine’s husband Henda, and 3 nephews, Eliot, Isaac, and Oliver, and 1 niece Emelia. Her great aunt, Sara LaMarca (who she called Mom). Eva also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins, and her buddy Robert Phillips.
A Mass for Eva will be held at St. Joseph Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940 on Tuesday, January 24th at 11:00AM.
