 Esther C. Miller formerly of Albion, NY, died June 29 at ORMC Arden Hill Campus, surrounded by her loving family. She was 50.Â
The daughter of  Edith Schmidt Thompson  and the late Willie Thompson, she was born in Germany on February 12, 1959. Â
Esther will be remembered by her family as a very genuine, kind hearted and giving person. She enjoyed adding porcelain dolls to her valued collection. Most of all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandson, Deshaun and youngest son, Andre, whom she often referred to as her "rock".
Esther is survived by her mother Edith, sons Dave Carlos Philyaw and Andre Fulow Miller, all of Middletown; three daughters, Tiffany Miller of Rochester, Marcy and Erica Miller of Middletown; two brothers Charles of Albany, NY and Donnell Thompson of Antioch, CA; one sister Monica Thompson of Baltimore, MD and one cherished grandson, Deshaun Philyaw of Queens.Â
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 pm on Thursday July 2 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5 pm at the funeral home on Thursday evening. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
