Estelle   Sacco Middletown, NY
Estelle  Sacco, a longtime resident of of Middletown, died on Sunday September 3 at at home after a short illness. She was 77. The daughter of the late Guiseppe Potente and Concetta Donnadio Potente, she was born on May 3, 1929 in West New York, N.J..
She married Carmine Sacco in 1947, and they late moved to Middletown, NY. Estelle was a mother and homemaker who devoted her life to her children and family. In later years, she worked for a time as an attendant at Middletown Jr. High School. She enjoyed time spent with friends-bowling, playing cards, and sharing a good laugh.
Estelle was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Carmine Sacco; her brothers; Joseph Potente, John Potente and Frank Potente; and her sisters, Rose Barricella, Millie Schapiro, Ann Cordella and Margaret Ianuale.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Weiss of Hyde Park and Jacqueline Gagnon of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, and her son, Steven J. Sacco and his wife Bridget of Greenville Township; her sister, Pauline Custode of Jersey City, NJ; and her grandchildren, Gerry Weiss, Michele Weiss, Brandon Gagnon and Evan Sacco. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
