Enrique A. Rose
15 May 1953 a 1 May 2023
Middletown, New York
Our beloved Enrique A. Rose went to his heavenly reward after a short illness. He died at his home with his loving family by his bedside. He was 69 years old.
Enrique was born on May 15, 1953, to parents Vernal and Jennie Foster Rose in Panama City Panama.
He married the love of his life, Adelina Hickson in Central America, and they made their home in the U.S. in the early 1980s.
They were blessed with two sons and celebrated 47 years of marriage together. Enrique was devoted to his family and he loved and appreciated them.
He retired from the United States Army after serving more than 20 honorable years of service to our nation. He then went on to work and retired from his second career at the Goshen Secure Center as a correctional officer. His work ethic was admirable, and after retiring from the Goshen Annex, he worked with Access For Living. Enrique took pride in his work.
His mild and efficient nature encouraged many. Enrique was friendly and took time to make everyone comfortable. He never met a stranger.
His cheerful personality lit up a room, and his comical ways relaxed everyone. Yes, and his laughter was contagious. He was unique and did not seem preoccupied to be anyone else but himself! He was simply ENRIQUE! He was a God-fearing man. He honored and loved Jesus. We will all miss him!
Enrique is survived by his devoted wife Adelina his sons, Enrique Rose, who is in the Army and Anthony Rose of Middletown, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren Yasmeen Rose, Sincere Rose, Anthony Rose Jr., and Jayla Rose. In addition to that he is survived by his brothers Franklin and Staton Rose.
