Elsie T. Sergio of San Antonio, Texas died peacefully on February 1, 2019. Elsie was a resident of Westtown, New York for many years prior to her move to Texas. She was 95 years old.
She was born to Robert Soriano and Margaret Englehardt on May 26, 1923.
Elsie was a member of Our Lady of the Scapular Parish in Unionville since 1975. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever possible.
She is survived by her brother Thomas Soriano and Mary Soriano, and grandchildren Carla Cable and her husband Craig of San Antonio, Texas, Christina Byrnes of Middletown, and David Byrnes and his fiancée Arianne of Sparrowbush, New York, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis and her daughter, Mary.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church at 11 A.M. on Thursday, February 14, 2019.
Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.
