Elizabeth ‘Ebie” Hulseapple, a lifetime Middletown resident, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Orange regional Medical center. She was 96.
The daughter of James D. and Carrie Gallagher, she was born on February 24, 1918 in Kaisertown, NY. Ebie was the widow of Kenneth Hulseapple.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Carole Hubler; grandchildren, Denise Rutherford, Michael Hubler, Sheree Biro, Susan Barker, John Judd, and Jim Judd; and nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Dylan, Austin, Riley, Shaina, Russell, Branden, Evan and Jason; and one great-great grandson, Xavier. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and special friends, Cindy, Terry, Rob, Denise, Janelle and Marilyn.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Dolores Judd, grandson, Brian Incorvaia, and siblings, Virginia Rhinehart, James Gallagher and Daniel Gallagher as well as her husband Kenneth.
Ebie was always ready with a smile and loved by all who knew her. Her quick wit and wise guy answers will be forever engraved in our hearts. She enjoyed many vacations and adventures with 4 generations over the past 16 years and we have so many great stories from them.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 10 to 12 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home on Tuesday, Pastor Dave Billings will officate. Burial will follow in the family plot in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
Ebie’s family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Fructer, Jill and Jeanette on his staff for the excellent and personal care they provided for her.
