Elinor M. Thorpe of Middletown NY died on Friday August 26th 2022 at the Valley View Nursing Center in Goshen NY
The daughter of the late Violet R Edwards, Carroll , Koutny. She was born on April 17th 1939 in Goshen NY.
She worked at Charcoal Kitchen in Middletown as a waitress for many years until they closed and she then went to work at Paul's also in Middletown. All of her customers loved her.
Her interests and hobbies included a love of crocheting , making her flower arrangements, and she loved going to craft shows. She loved crossword puzzles and playing scrabble, loved hiking and fishing. And she loved her country music.
She is survived by three daughters and son in laws ,Cheryl Palmer and husband Tom, Debbie Jones and husband Mike, Lori Hawley and husband Gerry.
As well as 8 Grandchildren. Bobby Cutler and wife HoneySue , Dave Fairweather Jr and wife Stacey, Mark Jones and wife Stefania, Shawn Palmer and fiance Miranda, Tommy Palmer and wife Anna , CJ Bressi , Josh
Bressi , and Janet Hawley
Also 12 great Grandchildren
Meghan Ann Fairweather , David Fairweather lll, Vanessa Jones, Samantha Jones, Justis Cutler , Zach Cutler, Zoey Palmer , Austin Palmer, Destiny Palmer , Dylan Palmer, And a Great Grandson due in Nov 2022. Plus 3 other Great Grandchildren .
1 Great Great Grandson due Feb 2023 As well as her Sister in law Anette Carroll, and several nieces and numerous cousins
She is predeceased by her mother Violet Edwards, Carroll, Koutny and stepfather Ed Koutny
And her two brothers Lester Carroll and Kenneth Carroll
There will be a Private Graveside service held at Wallkill Cemetery Middletown NY at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flower donations can be made in her Honor to, The American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Association.
