 Edmund F Susen was born in Spring Lake Heights,  NJ to Edmund C Susen and Anna Auches Susen. He spent most of his school years growing up in Mahwah NJ and married the girl next door, Patt (Patricia Rieder). He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Intrepid and thoroughly enjoyed serving as its tour guide to family and friends. He graduated from William Patterson State College and completed his Masters credits in Biology and went on to obtain his MBA from CW Post University. Having worked in the pharmaceutical industry, he started his own business as a pharmaceutical validation consultant traveling around the world eventually retiring to his beloved farm and raising Black Angus cows. Ed was also an avid outdoorsman.  He was extremely proud of his children and would talk incessantly about them to whoever would listen.Â
He will be sadly missed by Edmund P (Latisha), Elizabeth, Thomas (Sam), Katherine (Jeremy)and Daniel (Sterfany). He was Papa to Tristan, his special buddy, and Jeremiah, Samuel, Nicholas, Camilla, Rayne, Rex and an expected addition.Â
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Cremation will be private. Â Funeral arrangements by Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
