Dorothy Gray Radzinsky Middletown, New York  

Dorothy Gray Radzinsky, a longtime area resident died Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus.  She was 96 years old.

The daughter of the late Frank A. and Frieda R. Rose Gray, Dorothy was born November 13, 1910 in Burnside, NY. Dorothy graduated Valedictorian of Maybrook Highschool in 1927, she then went on to receive her Bachelors at Syracuse University.  

She was a devoted member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Middletown, also serving as a Sunday School teacher, and on the Board of Directors for the Universalist Women’s Association.  For many years she worked as a medical assistant in the office of Dr. Seymour Schoenholz in Campbell Hall, and more recently at the office of Dr. Anthony Morreale in Middletown.  Dorothy was a member of many organizations, including the PTA, former member of Middletown Board of Education, Women’s University Club, Lenten Sewing Club, and also as Secretary Emeritus of the Sarah Wells and William Bull Family Association.  She was a longtime volunteer at the Middletown Psychiatric Center, especially at Otti’s Attic.

Dorothy is survived by her son Stephen G. Radzinsky; her daughter Ann Maney and her husband. Robert, all of Middletown; granddaughters Susan E. Canavo of S. Sandwich, MA, Christine M. Robinson of Little Falls, NY, Rebecca A. Maney of Binghamton, and Sarah W. Maney of Middletown; six great grandchildren Nicole, John, William, David, Katherine, and Ethan.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles. L. Radzinsky, and her brother Harry F. Gray.

Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
