Dorothy Frank of Middletown NY, died on Friday August 10 at Middletown, NY. She was 93.
The daughter of the late Theodore and Alice Boynton, she was born on August 1, 1919 in Bridgeport, CT. Dorothy married George Watkins Frank on December 22, 1943 in Bridgeport, CT, they moved to the Middletown area in 1947 to raise their family. Dorothy and George shared 57 happy years of marriage together until his death in January of 2000.
She is survived by her children and their families; her son Ron and his wife Eileen, and his children, Jenna Gimbert and Josh Frank and his wife Becky and Dorothy's daughter, Pamela Bruckshaw and her three children, Jack Bruckshaw Jr,, Jeffrey E. Bruckshaw and his wife Christine, Jenny E. Werle and her husband Kevin; two step-grandchildren Scott Hershman and his wife Ali and Randi Connolly and her husband Brendan, one brother, Ted Boynton and his wife Anna, and two sisters, Lillian and Ginny as well as 17 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Dinsmore and his staff and to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
Cremation will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
