Donna Marie Larli, cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died unexpectedly on April 2, 2022 at Westchester Medical Center. She was 73.
Donna was born on August 31, 1948 in New Rochelle, NY, the only child of the late Dominick and Mildred LaFrazia Martinelli. Donna grew up in New Rochelle, where she met the love of her life, Anthony C. Larli. Friends for 57 years, Anthony and Donna shared 53 years of marriage. Donna worked as a teacher's aide for Trinity Elementary School in New Rochelle, and loved her job working with children. After retirement in 2008, they moved to the Wild Flowers Community in Middletown. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed being an active part of her community.
She will be remembered as a warm hearted and gentle person who loved being around people. Donna was very social and made everyone feel welcome. Her heartfelt smile and enthusiasm will be missed by her family and friends.
Donna is survived by her loving husband Anthony, two sons, Stephen and his wife Lynn and Edward and his fiancé Lisa and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jack, Vincent and Emily.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home,Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
