Donna Lynn Brock Krohler of Middletown, died on Sunday May 29, 2011 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 50.
The eldest daughter of Robert J. and Mary Lean Skorenski Hunter’s six children, she was born on August 12, 1960 in Troy.
Donna graduated from RPI and worked as a chemical engineer for T.E. Wire and Cable in Saddle Brook, NJ. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Middletown and enjoyed being part of the Mustang Club of Orange County. Donna liked to help others.
She is survived by her best friend and husband, Ed Kohler at home; stepchildren, Zachary and Kristine Kohler; her brothers, Robert and his wife, Bernadette, David and his wife, Cheryl, Daniel and his wife, Jean, and Michael and one sister, Col. Diane Battaglia and her husband, Philip of Ft. Hood, TX; several aunts, uncles and cousins and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 3 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Middletown.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
