Donna Kay Dollaway of Wurtsboro NY, died on Friday April 27 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 68.
The daughter of the late Paul and Doris Rumsey Nandelstadt she was born on February 22, 1944 in Elmira, NY.
She worked for Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center in New Hampton until her recent retirement.  Donna was the rock of her family. She was an excellent mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She was her childen's best friend. Donna loved to travel, gamble and of course, be with her family. She was a great, generous and an honest person. Donna is survived by her son Michael J. Dollaway and his wife Nina of N. J, and her daughter Cassandra and her significant other Rudolph Vandunk Jr. ; Brother Glen P. Nadlestadt and his wife Marge of Jamestown NY; sisters Annette States and her husband Lloyd of Berdette, NY, and Catherine Jones ; grandchildren Michael, Matthew and Amber. She was predeceased by one sister, Mickey LeConey.
Visitation hours are 4 to 5 pm today, Tuesday, May 8, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. A Memorial Service will be at 5 pm at the funeral home. Cremation was private. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
