Obituary for Donald Norman McKenzie
Donald Norman McKenzie, a longtime area resident, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at O.R.M.C. Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. He was 63 years old. The son of the late Donald Norman and Agnes L. Hricko McKenzie, he was born on June 28, 1943 in New York City. A family statement reads, “Don’s illness was extremely unforgiving but never took from him his sense of humor, wit, passion, and enthusiasm for life. He maintained this until the end. His spirit and will to live never wavered – He is a man that will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.” Donald is survived by his sons, William McKenzie and his wife, Lisa of Middletown, James McKenzie and his wife, Janyne of Howells, and Donald McKenzie and his wife, Leslie of Dingmans Ferry, PA, as well as his grandson Logan, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
