Denise Tucek-Tanis left us all too soon on Saturday, November 26th with her husband and love of her life Charles Tanis by her side.
We take comfort in the fact that she was welcomed to her new life where she is free from pain by her loving Mother MaryEllen Tucek and her Sister Jennifer Mary Tucek who predeceased her.
Denise was born in The Bronx on September 30, 1970 and moved to Middletown, NY as a young child with her family. She graduated OCC College and worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 20 years. She was a long time Middletown resident and could always be found on her parents back deck for a good conversation and lots of laughs. She also enjoyed many good times at the home she shared with her husband in Sparrowbush, NY along with their 2 cats Lily and Morticia.
Affectionately known by all as "Bubbles" Denise was an unstoppable force who never took no for an answer and enjoyed a zest for life. She enjoyed traveling all over with her husband Charlie and all of her family and friends. With a go bag always ready and an appetite for adventure Denise was happiest at the beach with her loved ones by her side. She had a knack for making friends anywhere in the world she landed.
Denise is survived by her beloved husband Charles Tanis. Her devoted father Douglas W Tucek Sr.. Her loving brother Dougles W Tucek Jr. and Sister in-law Rachael Tucek. Her step son Bryan Tanis. Her aunt Patricia Sparks. Her in-laws Kathleen (Tanis) and Patrick Rapp, Robert and Carolyne Tanis, James and Rebecca Tanis, as well nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
She will be sorely missed and forever remembered by all those who loved and knew her. Now is her time to run free and happy until we all meet again.
