Debra Lee Ryan, a longtime resident of Montgomery and recently of Middletown, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 following a long illness at home. She was 59.
The daughter of Helen Winfield and the late George Williams, she was born on April 23, 1952. Debra worked as a Case Aide for Orange County Dept. of Social Services in Goshen. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and was active in the cancer support group in Maybrook. Deb was always independent and strong. She cherished her granddaughter, Analise, and enjoyed taking part in her daily care.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Duncan of Maybrook, loving daughter, Niccole Massaro of Middletown, son-in-law Justin Card, sisters, Georgette Dugan of Pottstown, Pa, Margaret Martin of N.C, and Mary Rose of New Mexico, her caregiver Judi Suski and her beloved granddaughter, Analise Massaro.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Wed., April 11 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 pm on Wed., April 11th. Cremation will be private.
Memorial contributions in Debra’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 419 East Main St Middletown, NY 10940.
