Obituary for Deborah Ann Doolittle
Deborah Ann Doolittle
December 15, 1954-February 9, 2019
Bloomingburg, NY
Deborah Ann Doolittle Passed away Saturday February 9th 2019 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY. She was 64.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Martino, she was born on December 15, 1964 in Goshen, NY. Debbie worked for staples warehouse in Montgomery until she retired. She continued to work her second job at Bloomingburg Fine Spirits until her diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer 2018. That was her happy place. She loved finding just the right wine or liquor for her regular and new customers. Even after her diagnosis she tried to continue working. Although she had never flown before, her family convinced her in May 2018 to fly to South Carolina. She was brave to make the trip. While in South Carolina she continued her treatment there. Debbie got to spend some time with her sister and brother who also suffers from the same prognosis.
After four months she decided it was time to head back to New York and see her Grand Babies, as she would call them. Debbie stayed with her daughter’s family through the holiday. She wanted to spend the rest of her time with her son’s family.
A statement form her sister reads: "She was one of the strongest sister you could ask for. I will miss her tremendously. She always had a smile and something nice no matter what kind of day she was having.
Well Debbie, timing is everything, YOU AND FLOYD DECIDED TO EXIT ON THE SAME DAY. You Both will be missed by your Children. We love you!!!!!"
She is survived by her daughter, Natasha King and her husband William, son Joshua Doolittle and his fiancée Jenn Gordon; brother Joseph Martino, Jr and his wife Nancy and sister Rosemarie Moore and her fiancé Michael and six grandchildren, Giovanni, Gisella, Grand, and Guisseppe King and Cloe and Michael Doolittle; niece MaryAnn Emard and nephew Michael Martino.
