Daniel Gerard Strout of Middletown NY, died on Sunday November 22 at ORMC Horton Campus. He was 56.
The son of John and Jane Smith Strout he was born on June 14, 1953 in Bronx, NY.
Daniel was a self-employed poet and musician. He had an incredible capacity for forgiveness, and lived by the Dalai Lama belief " Forgiveness is the most effective way of dealing with arguments".
Daniel is survived by his five sisters Patricia and her husband Kent of Chester, Maureen Strout and her husband Jerry of Middletown, Geraldine Maidens of Kingston, Jane Kalanowski and her husband Chester of Dilan, Fl. and Kathleen Strout of Sugarloaf: two brothers Matthew of NYC, and John Strout of Middletown, and his five nieces and nephews Alexander, Ronnie, Gabby, Patrick and Michelle, whom he was very fond of.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30AM, Saturday December 5, at St. Joseph's Church 113 Cottage St. Middletown, with burial of cremains immediately following in the Strout family plot.
