Daniel Shaw of Middletown, NY died Friday, April 12, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 61 years old.
He was born February 25, 1952 in New York, the son of the late Thomas and Delia Shaw.
Danny worked for Lenox Hill Hospital and Siemens Corporation. He was a member of St. Ann's Knights of Columbus, of Fair Lawn, NJ. He loved to golf and watch Notre Dame football.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa, of 37 years; four daughters: Colleen and her husband, Kevin, Meghan Woodruff and her husband, Shawn , Katelin and her fiancé, Wil, Doreen and son, Thomas; two grandchildren, James and Madison; sister, Kathleen Conway and her husband, Mike; brother, John and his wife, Noreen; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Crystal Run Healthcare especially Dr. M. Perry for all their help and support.
Visitation hours are Sunday, April 14th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. Funeral Service 11 AM, Monday, April 15, at St. Joseph's R.C. Church. Cremation will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN or to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
