Obituary for Cynthia Kolk Graffeo
Cynthia  Kolk Graffeo Monroe, NY

Cynthia  Graffeo of Monroe NY, died unexpectedly on Monday December 11, 2006 at O.R.M.C., Arden Hill Campus Goshen, NY.  She was 41 yeas old.

The daughter of Kenneth and  Eileen Fagain Kolk she was born on March 26, 1965 in Goshen. Cynthia married Gary Graffeo on July 3, 1999 in Middletown.

She worked as a registered nurse for   St. Anthony´s Hospital, Warwick and  was a member of Goshen Methodist Church.

A family statement reads: “A Daughter of the American Revolution, Cynthia was proud of her heritage; which traced back to Sarah Wells ( her sixth greatgrandmother). She was an Orange County Dairy Princess, and knew her way around the farm – she was talented at arts and crafts, flowers and gardening”.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary, her two cherished children, Philip Kolk Graffeo and Ryan Thomas Graffeo, all at home; her parents, Kenneth and Eileen Kolk of Goshen; and one brother Richard David Kolk of Elmira, NY; and one niece and one nephew.

Friends and family may call on Friday, December 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.  A Funeral Service in Remembrance will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 16th at 11 am. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
