Claire Hull, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2021. She was 88 years old.
The daughter of William and Lillian Paterson Odell, she was born on January 14th 1933, in Winterton, NY.
Horses and horseback riding were her life’s passion. She was active in 4H and the Winslow Therapeutic Riding Center for many years. She spent years volunteering for both.
She loved to travel in the United States as well as many places in Europe. Some of her best trips were horseback riding vacations taken with her best friends Pat, Diness, and Ginny Wolfe.
Survivors include her daughter, Eileen Cortright. Her son, Ricky Hull, and wife, Wendy Jensen-Hull. Grandchildren Kristen LaPointe, Brian Hull and Katie Hull. Great grandchildren Sophia, Lillian and Victor LaPointe. Her sister, Muriel Lewis of Sarasota, Fl. Claire is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Frank “Pete” Hull and son in law, Mark Cortright.
Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, December 30th from 10am -11:30am with a Service of Remembrance at 11:30 am, followed by a graveside service at the New Vernon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Pennsylvania, 317 Dartmouth Dr Unit 1, Marshalls Creek, PA 18335. The family would like to give a special thank you to the entire staff at Belle Reve Senior Living Facility for their amazing care, compassion, and kindness they showed.
