Christopher Robin Cortright, a lifetime area resident, died March 17, 2007 at The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. He was 56 years old.
The son of Elizabeth Hannema Cortright and the late Norman E. Cortright, he was born on January 12, 1951 in Middletown.
We will always remember Chris’ love of nature and how much he enjoyed camping, hiking and swimming.
He is survived by his mother Betty of Middletown; one sister Mary Lou Pilnick and her husband, Steven of Monterey, CA; two aunts, Grace and Sophie; one niece Kristen Cortright and two nephews David and Michael Pilnick.
He was predeceased by his father, Norman in 2004 and his brother, Mark in 2003.
Cremation will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. The family wished to thank everyone at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence for their kindness and caring.
