Christopher Robert Worden Jr. died December 31, 2018 at home with his family by his side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was 64.
The son of Christopher Worden Sr. and Elsie Worden, he was born on December 5, 1954 in Middletown, NY.
Chris married Dawn Gag on August 28, 1993. He was the long time proprietor of C and D Window Cleaning of Middletown, NY. Chris was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a devoted fan to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Nascar and stock car racing, and above all else, George Jones. He also loved his dog Suzie.
In addition to his loving wife Dawn at home, he is survived by his children, Wayne Utter, Sr and his wife Shiloh of Bloomingburg, NY, Jason Worden of Walden, Marie Utter of Slate Hill, Jessie Greco and her husband Raffaele of Slate Hill and Leta Roy of Newburgh. He also leaves behind his brothers Otis Worden and wife Lorraine of Thompsonville, NY, Arthur Worden and wife Tammy of Slate Hill NY and his sisters Dorothy Epstein of Otisville, NY, Christina Hulse and husband Billy of Newburgh NY, Barbara Jenkins and husband Larry of Akron, OH, Eleanor Caston and husband Bobby of Wallkill, NY, and sister-in-law Nancy Worden; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Jocelyn, Wayne Jr , Layla, Alfonso, Gianna, Elijah, Devin, Jalenna, Samaya, Lydell and Nevaeh as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation is from 12 to 2 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm and burial will follow in the family plot in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chris’ name may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Orange County 384 Crystal Run Rd #102, Middletown, NY 10941.
