Obituary for Chris Arthur Eickmeyer
Chris A. Eickmeyer of Middletown, died suddenly on Monday, March 19, 2012 at home. He was 50 years old.

He was born in Middletown on March 26, 1961 to Agnes R. Peake Eickmeyer and the late Calvin A. Eickmeyer.

Chris worked at Middletown Home Depot over 12 years in many different departments. He was also a locksmith. Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman. He never missed a NASCAR race, and his favorite driver was Tony Stewart.

Chris is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Melissa K. Culver; mother, Agnes R. Peake Eickmeyer of New Castle, DE; siblings: Gayle Riker and her husband, Charlie, Calvin E. Eickmeyer and his wife, Stella, Marlene Mooney and her husband, Dennis, Marsha Eckerson and her husband, James, Craig Eickmeyer, Carey Cabral and her husband, John, Corie Wedel and her husband, Jim, Casey Wersinger and her husband, Thomas; his brother-in-law, Tom Honahan, best friend, Donnie Knapp and his wife, Connie, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Calvin A. Eickmeyer; sisters, Rebecca and Cathy Honahan; nephew, Demin Mooney and niece, Kayla Cabral.

Visitation will be held today, Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012. Burial will follow in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery.
