Obituary for Cheryl Ann Kreisch
Cheryl Ann Kreisch, a lifelong resident of Middletown and Certified Nursing Assistant, died after a short illness on February 27, 2022, at Garnet Medical Center. The daughter of William and Gladys Atkins Kreisch, she was born on October 12,1951 in Middletown. She graduated from Middletown High School class of ?69 and worked as a CNA at St. Theresa?s Nursing Home for many years. She was dedicated and diligent in caring for the residents, often bringing them things from home and treating them like family. Although she never had children of her own, she was A wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews and was known for her traditional Christmas baskets that she assembled for each and every one of the kids. Cheryl Ann adored family. She took care of her parents in their older ages, and they were grateful for her loving and generous time that she provided them. She is survived by her companion and best friend, Alan Kasduzuba, her cherished cousins, Cheryl and Fred Villegas, Donna and Rick Decker, her nieces, Elena Gerson and Sarah C. Decker and her nephews, Fernando Villegas and Brandon B. Decker. She was predeceased by a nephew, Joshua Decker. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 11:00 am until noon, with a Service of Remembrance at 12:00 pm. Rev. Jeff Farley will officiate.
