Obituary for Chelsea Scarlett Roth
Chelsea “Scarlett” Roth, died unexpectedly in Santa Monica, California on March 23rd 2022. She was 23 years old.
Scarlett graduated from Goshen High School in 2016, but spent most of her school days in the Valley Central school district. She was a student at SUNY Orange, studying business; and a small business owner. Scarlett sold crystals in the community and nationwide, she would travel to find rare minerals and worked with many international businesses to have them custom cut and polished for her customers. Scarlett was an avid hiker and enjoyed nature and yoga. Scarlett loved to travel to new places and experience culture in situ. She was a lover of words and reading. Scarlett’s final act was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
Scarlett was born on October 25th 1998 in Middletown NY at Horton Memorial Hospital. Scarlett is predeceased by her grandfather, Stanley Charles Roth of New York, NY. Scarlett is survived by her mother, Kelly Roth, of Goshen, NY, her father, Roger Roth, of Brooklyn, NY, her sister, Emilia Roth, of New York, NY, her grandparents, Debbie and Bruce Brenner, of Bloomingburg, NY, her grandmother, Bernice Roth, of New York, NY, her uncle, Shaun Brenner and his fiancé, Annie Fehrman and her cousins, Jaiden Brenner, Shaun Brenner JR and April Fehrman, of South Fallsburg, NY, her cousin Michael Helt and his fiancé Ian McNamara, of West Milford, NJ, and Alyssa Cummiskey of Monticello, NY. As well as her beloved dog and best friend, Haze, the Great Dane.
Visitation will be at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY on Saturday April 9th, 2022 from 11am - 2pm. Flowers are welcome.
