Charles Joseph Miele of Middletown, NY died suddenly on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 72. The son of the late Anthony and Beatrice Miele, he was born on November 19, 1939 in the Bronx.
Charlie served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Middletown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; two sons, Michael Ryan and David Miele and a daughter, Leesa Miele.
Visitation hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Joseph's Church in Middletown. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
