Obituary for Catherine F. Kennedy
Catherine F. Kennedy, a longtime area resident, died Friday November 17, 2006 at her home. She was 86 years old. The daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Austin Feeney, she was born on January 21, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. She was a parish member o f Holy Cross RC Church, South Centerville. She is survived by her two daughters, Catherine Nowacki of Otisville, and Maureen Fusillo of Boca Raton; seven grandchildren, John and Bernardine Nowacki, Lauren and Jillian Fusillo, Anthony, Matthew, and Dawn Marie Kennedy; one brother, Thomas Feeney and his wife, Millie of Queens; one sister Florence Reilly and her husband, Edward of West Babylon, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew Kennedy in 1961, her son, Matthew Kennedy in 1984 and one sister Anne Quigley in 1975.
Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Monday Nov. 20th at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 21st at 10am in Holy Cross RC Church, South Centerville Road, South Centerville, NY. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY Memorial Donations in Catherine’s name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.Arrangements under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
