Obituary for Catherine Costagliola
Catherine Costagliola, a longtime resident of the area, died on May 4, 2024 at Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation in Beacon, NY. She was 87.
The daughter of the late Wilbert and Blanche Roberts Corbine, she was born on October 4, 1936 in Canton, NY. She married Michael Costagliola on November 6, 1971, they spent 32 years together before his death in 2003. She spent most of her life as a dedicated mother and homemaker and loved her family.
Catherine is survived by her daughters, Susan Woodruff and Brenda Harley, her sons, Michael Zolnoski Jr. and Timothy Costagliola and his wife Janett; and grandchildren, Donald Babb and his wife Crystal and their children Hannah and Mark, Joshua Costagliola and his wife Malin and their daughter Xoe, Jonah Costagliola, Jordan Costagliola and his wife Rubi and their daughter Selina, and Ashley Moore, her husband Jeff and her children, Jeffrey, Skyler and Bryce, as well as many nieces and nephews from the Costagliola family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10 th from 11 am to 1 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm at the funeral home, and burial will follow in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown.
